Reviews of Fred Henderson in Langley Moor, near Durham

Got a 49 year old spitfire, only had it a month, waited for parts then replaced the rear driver side UV joint, had some fuel issues, sorted those out, new float valve seats and needle valves in float chambers on the SU carbs, took it out to test the fuel problems, was running well, only drove around a few streets 4 miles in total since UV joint was changed, and thought great, sorted .
Then bang!, juddered to a stop, had a look under car, UV go one again actual shaft yoke out of the spider in the diff yoke, oh dear! Called my insurance ( Adrian flux ) they used ( Fred henderson as there recovery professionals, they came out within 40 mins of the call I put in,
Michael was the driver , nice guy, friendly and polite, explained what was up with the car, as wheel was jammed locked solid with UV joint being parted and forcing the wheel to be jammed so limited free movement so mike got the skids out and we managed to get it up onto the ramp of the truck, got home and again using skids managed to get it on my drive off the street,
So a big thank you mike and the Fred henderson crew, home safe and sound and in less than an hour, cheers guys
